JOB DESCRIPTION

UN OVERVIEW OF THE MANDATE :

• Managing purchases for the Parts department;

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers of materials, components, and subcontractors;

• Innovating by identifying new suppliers, subcontractors, and products;

• Keeping yourself informed about market trends and fluctuations;

• Following up on orders with suppliers and subcontractors;

• Planning order pickups when necessary;

• Analyzing past purchases and optimizing costs by negociating new pricing and conditions;

• Developing a strategic vision for the procurement process;

• Monitoring supplier services and conducting periodic evaluations.

GENERAL SKILLS

YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR IF :

• You have a DEC in supply chain management or relevant experience;

• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;

• You a bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written;

• You hold a valid driver's licence;

• You have strong skills in negotiation, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving;

• You demonstrate good judgment and a strong sense of customer service;

• You are organized, professional, results-oriented, and take initiative.
