Heavy equipment mechanic

• Repair, maintain, and refurbish heavy equipment
• Identify the nature of defects and failures to determine the scope of repairs required (diagnose issues on equipment)
• Adjust, repair, or replace parts
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality

Requirements:

• DEP in heavy equipment mechanics or automotive mechanics with relevant work experience
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in similar positions
• Mining module
• Explosives permit
• Excellent knowledge of hydraulics and electricity
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail
• Team player with curiosity and autonomy

Job Type:

• Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts
• Monday to Friday
• Day shifts
• Weekends off

Education:

• DEP/AEC or Certificate (Required)

Experience:

• Heavy equipment mechanics: 1 year (Required)
