HERE'S AN OVERVIEW OF YOUR DUTIES AS A MINING EQUIPMENT MECHANIC (4/3 SCHEDULE):

• Repair, maintain and refurbish mining equipment;
• Determine the nature of defects and failures in order to determine the extent of repairs required (diagnose equipment problems);
• Support other mechanics in problem-solving;
• Ensure compliance with OHS rules and procedures;
• Complete necessary reports;
• Contribute to a climate conducive to teamwork;
• Be autonomous and have leadership skills;
• Work with multiple equipment repair software;
• Subject to occasional road work.

YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR :

• Minimum 5 years experience on mining equipment;
• Valid driver's license;
• DEP or AEP in mobile mining machinery mechanics or heavy equipment mechanics (an asset);
• Mining modules and explosives permit (an asset).
